Saraswati Global Return, Exchange, Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Exchange Eligibility Period

1.1 Customers may request to exchange within seven calendar days from the date of delivery of product.

1.2 Any request made beyond the stipulated period shall not be accepted under any circumstances.

1.3 Saraswati Global does not provide any return policy on their Custom products.

2. Eligible Products

2.1 Exchanges are permitted only for:

  • Non-custom, non-made-to-order products
  • Non-discounted, non-sale items

3. Manufacturing Defects & Transit Damage

3.1 Customers must inspect products immediately upon box delivery.

3.2 Any manufacturing defect or transit-related damage must be reported within forty-eight (24) hours of delivery.

3.3 Customers are required to provide clear photographic evidence, including:

  • Images or video of the product opened for inspection
  • Images of the product securely packed

3.4 Upon verification, the Company shall, at its sole discretion:

  • Arrange a free return pickup
  • Offer a replacement

3.5 No return charges shall be applicable for verified manufacturing defects.

4. Exchange Charges (Non-Defective Products)

4.1 For products without any manufacturing defect, returns and refunds are not permitted. Such products shall be eligible only for exchange, subject to the terms below:

  • Exchange Orders: The exchange charge applies only once per order.

Note: The above charge is levied to cover reverse logistics, handling, and quality inspection costs.

5. Exchange & Repair Policy

5.1 Products eligible for exchange or repair must be returned in original condition and packaging, along with the proof of purchase.

5.2 Requests for exchange or repair must be made within [7] days of delivery.

5.3 Exchange or repair timelines:

5.4 Items cannot be exchanged or repaired if damaged due to misuse, negligence, or wear and tear.

5.5 Any replacement products or repaired items remain under warranty as per the original product terms.

6. International Orders

6.1 International orders are non-returnable and non-refundable.

6.2 In the event of transit damage, customers must notify the Company within 24 hours of delivery so that we can submit a claim to the insurance company.

6.3 The Company may assist with courier claims; however:

  • Return shipping costs, customs duties, and taxes shall be borne by the customer.
  • Refunds, if any, shall be subject to courier settlement outcomes.

7. Cancellation Policy

7.1 Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement, provided the order has not been shipped.

7.2 Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled and must follow the Policy process.

7.3 Custom-made or made-to-order rugs cannot be cancelled once the order is confirmed.

8. Quality Inspection and Final Decision

8.1 All returned products undergo a mandatory quality inspection.

8.2 The Company reserves the right to:

  • Reject any return that does not meet policy conditions
  • Deny refunds or exchanges in cases of misuse, damage, or fraudulent claims

9. Limited Warranty

9.1 Handmade rugs are covered by a limited warranty of up to 12–24 months against manufacturing defects.

9.2 Warranty excludes:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Shedding, sprouting, or color variations
  • Damage due to moisture, sunlight, improper care, or heavy furniture

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Policy shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
